Physical description:
Bearing a strong family resemblance, Sarina has the same light chestnut hair, currently pulled up into a loose, elegant french twist, and the same strong and piercing features in her face as the rest of her family. She has well defined, but delicate, cheekbones and chin, a well-proportioned nose, and her lips that are full, though a little pale. She is obviously of Middle-eastern heritage, at odds with her unusually pale complexion, which, unfortunately, fits her health perfectly. In this respect, Sarina is nothing like her family. Her thin, weak frame appears barely strong enough to keep her upright, and she is forever coughing. Her deep blue-hazel eyes seem sad, somehow, or lost in deep contemplation.

2. Brief History
Sarina was born, one of a set of twins. Of the two, her sister was blessed with the better health. Struggling with her health has forced Sarina to lead a restricted life, spending most of her time within the familial estates, never wandering far. She has received a classical education, focusing on literature and the arts, for one of her position is not expected to need employment. Since her weakened condition has prevented her from taking up physical activities, Sarina has learned to excel in the more quiet tasks of needlework, house management, and, of course, intrigue.

3. Psychological Profile
As a result of Sarina's health problems, she has developed a rather unique perspective on life. She looks at the intrigues of court life with a certain amount of boredom and disgust, preferring bluntness (best to say what needs to be said, for who knows how long you will live). She realizes that, for the sake of her house, she cannot always speak her mind to others, so she often remains silent. This might often be mistaken as a sign of weakness or timidness, but she is certainly neither. While her illnesses could make her bitter, and have in the past, she has achieved a sense of peace, no longer railing against the injustice of the situation. She has long since accepted that she will never rise to any position of power as a result of her condition, rather, she is content to help her brother and sister instead. Occasionally, her desire to be more like her sister and brother overwhelms her, and she pushes herself to be more active, often with disastrous results.

From the day she was born, the doctors knew that Sarina would struggle with various illnesses. She has chronic respiratory and heart problems which manifest themselves in coughing jags and fatigue. She also has a depressed immune system, making her susceptible to contracting illnesses.
