The Family Bajazet consists of the blood and marriage relations to the original bloodline of Mehmud I Bajazet, hero of the Battle of Corrin. They are the highest ranking members of the House, and are due the respect given to one's liege and lady.

The Sultan's Divan -- The Council of State is the highest council of the House. The Chief of Staff acts as a moderator in the Sultan's absence, and directs the activities.Each member of the Divan has near-complete authority in their field of work,subject only to the orders of the Sultan himself. While they are not awarded the same respect as warranted by the Family Bajazet since they maybe of common birth, the members of the Divan are nonetheless to be deferredto by virtue of their skill.

The Hacegan -- (Upper Bracket Bureaucracy) is the next order of officers beneath the Divan. Generally, each member of the Divan is free to organize their staff as they see fit. Regional commanders, especially high-ranking officials, and ministers of state are all part of the Hacegan. They are the primary retainers of theHouse and are due respect as befits their loyalty and position.

The Sultan's Household -- (Members of the Barional Retinue) is comprised of those individuals who travel with the Sultan on most occasions of off-planet travel; they are his personal ministers and advisers, outside the sway of the Divan in most cases due to their ancilliary nature. They are awarded respect beyond what they might otherwise receive because they are so close to the Sultan's person, and are surely all dear to him.

The Ayan -- (Notable Officers in the Bajazet Bureaucracy) the workhorse of the Bajazet Bureaucracy. They are the counter-balance that keeps the House from becoming too top heavy, and they are the ones who work behind the scenes at all times to keep the House operating smoothly.
